Word Work Fun

This week the students played Tic-Tac-Toe to help them practice their spelling words.  They received a Word Work Tic-Tac-Toe board and had to pick one activity a day to help them practice their spelling words.  They had to make a Tic-Tac-Toe to complete the sheet by the end of the week.  This week some of the favorite student choices were to paint the words or use other materials to spell the words and then take a picture with the camera, write silly sentences using their words, and making a Word Search with their words and then choosing a partner to complete it.  Each week their Tic-Tac-Toe board will have a variety of choices to pick from so students have choice in what interests them the most.  Look at some of the "Word Work" from this week.
